Dr Peter Young, MD, FRCA, FFICM, MB ChB

• Peter is a consultant in Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn.
• Peter’s research interests include the development and implementation of medical safety innovations to prevent serious adverse and never events.
• Peter has filed 15 patents for innovations over 25 years, which are under development through the NHS, Industry, Medtech Accelerators and start up companies and of which 8 are on the market.
• Peter represents innovation, safety and industry for the Association of Anaesthetists, is an Alumni Fellow of NHS Innovation Accelerator Programme and is a mentor for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme.
