Dr Barry Lyons is a paediatric anaesthesiologist at Children’s Health Ireland, and the Director of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement at the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland. He has a particular interest in medical ethics, regulation and law, and in the psychological and emotional aspects of healthcare provision.
