Operation Childlife is an Irish registered charity whose mission is to provide optimal surgical, anaesthetic, medical and nursing care to infants and children of low and middle-income countries when invited to do so. Our vision is to deliver this healthcare in the child’s own environment in a respectful and collaborative manner.

Operation Childlife ( in association with the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland) offers potential travel Fellowship opportunities for trainees in anaesthesia, surgery, paediatrics and nursing to gain additional expertise by participating in international paediatric healthcare missions, while also conducting targeted research in collaboration with local medical professionals and Operation Childlife members.
