Congratulations to Dr Ellen O’ Sullivan and Dr Wouter Jonker who were presented with two major Prizes at the Irish Medical Times, Irish Healthcare Awards held in the Shelbourne Hotel on the 5th November 2015. They won the Best Hospital Project Award and the An Duais Mhor Best Overall Project Award for their study on “Accidental Awareness during General Anaesthesia in the UK Ireland – Report and findings”. Dr O’ Sullivan and Dr Jonker accepted the Prizes on behalf of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland, the Royal College of Anaesthesiologists, UK and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland.
