World Anaesthesia Open Day at the College

Friday, 16 October 2026 | College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland

The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland is delighted to be taking part in Open House Dublin 2026 with our World Anaesthesia Open Day on Friday, 16 October 2026.

Join us as we open the doors of our historic Georgian home and invite visitors to discover The Story of Anaesthesiology.

The event will offer a unique opportunity to explore the history of the College and anaesthesia through historic artefacts, displays and interactive experiences, while also providing an insight into modern anaesthetic practice through simulation.

Visitors can expect to explore our historic Georgian building, discover the fascinating history of anaesthesia, view historic displays and artefacts, and experience some of the simulation and training facilities used by anaesthesiologists today.
