  Congratulations to Dr Ellen O’ Sullivan and Dr Wouter Jonker who were presented with two major Prizes at the Irish Medical Times, Irish Healthcare Awards held in the Shelbourne Hotel on the 5th November 2015. They won the Best Hospital Project Award and the An Duais Mhor Best Overall Project Award for their study on “Accidental Awareness during General Anaesthesia in the UK Ireland – Report and findings”.         The International Scientific Meeting in Anaesthesiology, “超越界限”, “Beyond Horizons”,  “Thar Leaslinte”, will be held on 22-23 November 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.   The 2-day program will include lectures, workshops and free paper presentations covering various topics on anaesthesia, pain and intensive care medicine in addition to a health care industry exhibition.
