The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, along with our Malawian Partners, has been shortlisted for an Education Award in ‘The Best International Collaboration Project’ category.

This is in recognition for the High Dependency, Obstetrics and Trauma management (HOT) project that takes place in Malawi, with a team from the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland delivering clinical training programmes. Over 600 medical staff in Malawi have now been trained as part of our mission to reduce inequality and improve patient care.

The  Education Awards encourage and celebrate excellence in the third level education sector on the island of Ireland from both State and privately funded institutions.

The winners will be announced at ​The Education Awards 2019 event that takes place on Thursday, February 21st in Ballsbridge Hotel Dublin.
