Echo Guided Life Support (EGLS) Course – 11th – 12th September 2025
EGLS is a live course that teaches candidates how to use basic echocardiography, lung and IVC ultrasound to diagnose the cause of shock in a patient. It consists of a comprehensive online pre course material and a live component which focuses on hands-on learning scanning simulated patients under the supervision of an instructor. EGLS has run in Ireland since 2018. EGLS is also a FUSIC Heart (Intensive Care Society UK) approved course.
Who should attend – Physicians who manage acutely unwell patients.
Course content – Online Pre course learning & assessment, live hands on scanning, learn an algorithm using ultrasound to help diagnose and manage your shocked patients better.
