Call for Participants: POCUS Focus Groups in Ireland

Healthcare professionals and stakeholders are invited to express their interest in participating in a new research study exploring perspectives on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) education and governance in Ireland.

The study, led by Aine Lunney under the supervision of Associate Professor Shane Foley, is now recruiting participants for a series of virtual focus groups. The research aims to gather insights from clinicians, educators, and governance representatives to help inform the future of POCUS education and governance in Ireland.

Participation involves:

  • Completing a short Expression of Interest form.
  • If selected, attending one online focus group (approximately 60 minutes).

Participation is voluntary, and all information shared will be anonymised and managed in accordance with GDPR and UCD data protection policies. The study has received ethical approval from the UCD School of Medicine Ethics Committee (Reference: 136-LS-26-LR-Lunney-Foley).
