Applications Open – Specialist Training Programme in Pain Medicine – Intake July 2027
We are pleased to advise that applications are now open for the Specialist Training Programme in Pain Medicine for posts commencing July 2027. Please find the advertisement and guidance document for applicants below.
Closing date for applications is Friday 10th October at 16:00.

- Cover Letter and copy of Curriculum Vitae
- Evidence of CSCST in Anaesthesiology or confirmation of entry to Specialist Division of the Register in Anaesthesiology
- Certified colour copy of Passport
- Two Completed Reference Letters
- Proof of English Language Competence (if applicable)
- Certified copy of Certificate of Naturalisation (if applicable)
Successful applicants will be appointed to the two-year run through programme. As the programme is a national training programme some candidates will be allocated to centres outside of Dublin.
