The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, along with our Malawian Partners, has been shortlisted for an Education Award in 'The Best International Collaboration Project' category. This is in recognition for the High Dependency, Obstetrics and Trauma management (HOT) project that takes place in Malawi, with a team from the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland delivering clinical training programmes. Over 600 medical staff in Malawi have now been trained as part of our mission to reduce inequality and improve patient care. The  Education Awards encourage and celebrate excellence in the third level education

The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland is delighted to announce the launching of Airway Leads Training in Ireland (ALTI). This 1-day course will take place in the Education Centre, College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, 22 Merrion Sq, Dublin on Friday, 8th February 2019. It follows a Train - the -Trainer model, and consists of a combination of lectures, clinical skills and simulation stations delivered by experts with a national and international reputation in airway management and education.
