Western Anaesthesia Symposium 2026

This year’s symposium will focus on “A Modern Experience-Based Practice of Anaesthesiology.” Responding to feedback from previous attendees, the programme introduces a new format designed to encourage greater discussion and engagement. Alongside a reduced number of traditional lectures, the meeting will feature more interactive elements, including the debut of a “Metasession”, where common questions and clinical controversies will be explored through an expert panel discussion held in conversation.

The programme will also include practical workshops, poster sessions, case presentations, and the popular “So You Think You Know About…” debates, which continue to be a highlight of the event.
