The CAI recently selected Dr Aislinn Sherwin and Dr Mark Johnson as representatives at the Emerging Leaders Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April. This is a satellite conference of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting. It is an immersive 3 day event. The National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA) have today announced that an award of up to EU 100K per annum jointly funded by the British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) will be made available to support and stimulate collaboration between investigators in the Republic of Ireland with investigators in the UK (including N. Ireland) to conduct excellent research (laboratory, clinical or both) in anaesthesiology, critical care and/or pain medicine.
