Registration for enrolment on the CPD Support Scheme (CPD-SS) for 2025/2026 is now open from Monday, 8 December.

Eligibility Criteria

To enrol on the CPD-SS, applicants must meet all five of the following criteria:

1. Be enrolled with the College for PCS

2. Hold the NCHD Contract 2010

3. Work within the public health service

4. Not be enrolled on an Intern Training Scheme or a Specialist Training Scheme

5. Be registered on either the Supervised or General Division of the Irish Medical Council Register

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted via your Risr account (formerly Kaizen):

1. Confirm that you are currently registered for PCS with the CAI

2. Log in to your Risr account

3. Select “Create New Event”

4. Under Uncategorised, choose “CPD SS Application 2025/2026”

5. Upload a copy of your current Medical Council registration certificate and NCHD contract

Once submitted, the CPD-SS Scheme Coordinator will contact you to confirm your registration and credit allocation. A guidance document for the current scheme is available to download HERE.
