We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the CAI Annual Congress 2026, taking place from Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd May 2026 at UCD O’Reilly Hall.

The CAI Annual Congress remains the premier educational and networking event for anaesthesia professionals, and 2026 promises to be our most exciting programme yet.

A Longer Congress – 2.5 Days of Learning

For the first time, Congress will run over 2.5 days, expanding from the traditional two-day format to offer delegates even greater educational value, flexibility, and choice.

NEW for 2026: Refresher Course Series

We are particularly excited to introduce a brand-new Refresher Course Series, taking place on Wednesday afternoon, extending Congress by an additional half day.

This new introductory series has been designed to be:

  • Practical

  • Varied

  • Clinically relevant

The programme will focus on core topics essential to everyday practice, including:

  • Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA)

  • IV fluids

  • Obstetric anaesthesia

  • Peripheral nerve blocks
  • Postoperative care

  • And more

The Refresher Course Series offers delegates an excellent opportunity to refresh key knowledge and skills ahead of the main Congress sessions, making it an ideal addition for trainees and experienced clinicians alike.

Register Early

With an expanded programme and strong interest expected, we encourage delegates to register early to secure their place at CAI Annual Congress 2026.

We look forward to welcoming you to UCD O’Reilly Hall this May for an engaging, informative, and forward-looking Congress.
