The course is targeted towards trainees in their latter stages of training who may be interested in basic transesophageal echocardiography or those considering applying for Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiology fellowships.
It is a mixture of didactic lectures and hands on exposure with a Transesophageal echocardiography simulator.
