Adult Critical Care Transport Training
The Adult Critical Care Transport Course, was developed by the Critical Care and Retrieval Services (CCRS) to meet the training needs of the multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses and NAS Personnel involved in the transport of a critically ill adult patient by ambulance. This blended learning course addresses the elements encountered when transporting critically ill adult patients, e.g. preparation, emergencies, human factors. There is mandatory pre learning required prior to the face to face simulation session. This course is run in many hospitals around the country. If you are interested, please discuss with your local consultants, then contact us to secure a position on the course through the ICU facilitator.
