In honour of International Women’s Day 2020, the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland today shares the stories of two female anaesthetists who contributed to the advancement of women in medicine .

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “#EachforEqual” and we are proud to honour the impact that Dr Ella Webb and Dr Sarah Joyce O’ Malley made and celebrate their achievements. Both of these pioneers had a tremendous impact on the profession.
