This year, CAST celebrated 10 years of continuous participation with simulation related scientific presentations at

the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine (SESAM) annual meeting.  SESAM 2019 Annual

Meeting was held at the Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland on 12th-14th June.

Dr. Caoimhe Duffy, Simulation Fellow presented her work on Rapid Sequence Induction – Anaesthesiology

Bootcamp.  Mr. Karl Perocillo, Simulation and Clinical Skills Manager presented  Foundation Programme for

Anaesthesia/Recovery Room Care for Nurses/Midwives – Is simulation workshop beneficial to their learning

experience? An evaluation.  Both pieces of work were well received by SESAM delegates.
