The BJA Anaesthesia & Cancer Workshop was held at the College of Anaesthesiologists on the 29^th & 30^th May 2013.

This prestigious event was attended by up to 20 leading Researchers from around the world

who all have a shared interest that anaesthesia and perioperative events might influence recurrence and metastases. The two days provided an opportunity to share ideas and foster collaboration. The event was organised by Prof Donal Buggy, Professor of Anaesthesia at UCD and was opened by the President of the College, Dr Ellen O’ Sullivan. The event was fully sponsored by the BJA.
