The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland invites medical students on the Island of Ireland to submit an essay on the topic of Patient Safety: “Primum non nocere: an impossible task in medicine?." 1st Place: The winner will be awarded a €500 prize and must be available to give a short presentation about their essay at the National Patient Safety Conference in November 2023. 2nd Place: €300 plus invitation to National Patient Safety Conference 2023 3rd place: €100 plus invitation to National Patient Safety Conference 2023 The competition is open to all students in Medical
