The College is currently developing a new Hospital Accreditation Programme. This commences in 2012 and all hospital accreditation visits from now (January 2012) onwards will use this system. Hospitals will supply information prior to the accreditation visit via a web-based form currently under development, which should be available for use in the next few weeks, accessible through this section of the website. In the meantime, if any hospital wishes to view the form and the kind of information which will be required, it can be emailed to you by request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. It is strongly recommended that this form is viewed in advance, since the information set required is significantly different to that previously required for hospital inspections, and it may take some time to gather and collate.
